Lucky you Jim. I wish I didn't have to deal with the tax nightmare.

My latest solution, courtesy of my wonderful bookkeeper, is to check the tax rates on everything before I do speaking engagements. So that takes care of physical product sold on site. But it doesn't deal with email downloads.

As she put it...I recently paid her $30 to figure out I owe someone $.72 back in overpaid tax. Arrrgggh!

Any thoughts or suggestions from readers on how to deal with this would still be most appreciated!

It just keeps getting harder! How could a Internet business that sells products possibly keep up on all the new tax laws in every State, City and County in the United States. I ownand operate a Business Directory in Longview Washington called LongviewBiz.com. In a nutshell I sell advertising space. I am glad I dont have to jump through the hoops e-commerce businesses will have to. My hat is off who ever can figure this one out.
